Over the past 15 years, I’ve served as startup CMO, a co-founder, a zero-to-one builder, a team of one, a director at two big tech companies, a non-profit board member, and a fractional advisor. I’ve applied and expanded my skills within B2B, B2C, social media platforms, sustainability, agriculture, NGOs, live events, and more.

Recent fractional projects and interim roles

NILAssist
I’m developing their initial brand and investor deck, advising on youth and social media marketing, and building a PLG (product-led growth) plan to drive traction. Beta test launching in late 2025.
This pre-seed startup is democratizing NIL (name, image, likeness) beyond elite TV sports, by building an AI-powered app for college athletes to earn revenue and for universities to remain in compliance.

Reunion
I wrote and produced Reunion’s major thought leadership project for 2025. I developed the distribution plan, helping them reach thousands of tax professionals with exclusive market insights.

Mashgin
I built Mashgin’s first growth marketing plan and brand strategy, led development of the messaging house, established product marketing framework, and developed PR / comms approach.

Nuru International
I advised Nuru, an international NGO supporting development in Africa, on a full messaging and brand refresh. Their donations had plateaued, so I worked with them to update their narrative to be more current, urgent, and salient.
Full-Time Leadership

Turntide Technologies
I was the first senior marketing hire for this pre-revenue startup that was commercializing a new, efficient electric motor.
I rebranded the company to align it with the founder’s vision as a diversified industrial climate technology innovator across real estate, mobility, and agriculture.
I helped build messaging and campaigns for each of our lines of business, and grew annual revenue to $100M+. On a tiny budget (2% of rev.), we built a $200M growth pipeline my final year there through PR, ABM, events, and content.
Our storytelling helped us raise more than $500M from VCs. As we acquired six companies across three countries, I rapidly integrated them into our brand architecture and systems, while building shared culture through internal comms.

YouTube
Google hired me as the first head of B2B marketing for video, just as they were preparing to launch video advertising.
I built YouTube for Advertisers by launching video ad products, establishing trust in the content, and building agency awareness of younger consumers’ affinity for YouTube.
I leveraged cutting edge research on youth media trends to prove their their embrace of online video over live TV. I launched YouTube Show & Tell for Agencies to encourage them to build YouTube into the creative and media plans.
I helped push Google into the TV upfront season by championing and orchestrating the first YouTube Brandcast, an event for advertisers that drove more than $100M in spend commitments.

Eventbrite
Eventbrite hired me to figure out local marketing. They had built a team of community managers in five cities to rally event organizers, but it wasn’t producing results.
I determined that event organizers are competitors, not a community. I drove a strategic company realignment from SaaS to a marketplace and then activated the consumer side.
I set aggressive KPIs around ticket sales and revenue for our highest value organizers, so they they would perceive Eventbrite as their best option for ticketing and promotion.
Focusing on social ringleaders who organize their friend groups, we developed experiences across six cities, from London to LA, and launched a consumer publication called Rally that was immediately profitable.

Sens.AI
I was founding CMO at this seed-stage startup. Sensai was an app for creators and business owners to use AI to grow their social media presence and marketing.
We were way ahead of our time for an AI app (2017).
I built and executed our first marketing plan and brand identity. I led the acquisition of 30,000+ beta users and upsold 400 to our paid plan.
